Townsville City Church has a rich history. The church is celebrating 39 years in 2024.
In 2022 Pastor Greg Hunt was appointed as Senior Pastor.

Pastor Gregory Hunt.
Greg grew up in an Australian defence force family living on 4 different continents. He was born again in 1985 by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and has experienced much in the areas of law, media, transport, music & Christian ministry.
Greg and Karen have been married for over 25 years and have two young adult sons. They've shared diverse ministry involvements in Sydney, South East Queensland, overseas mission fields, and now Townsville!
Widely travelled also, Karen enjoys her role with national broadcaster ‘Vision Christian Radio’ while contributing to ministry at Townsville City Church.
Associate Pastor
Pastor Maryanne Martin
Maryanne has been involved in pastoral ministry for over 39 years and has been an ordained minister with Australian Christian Churches since 1996. She was part of the team that helped pioneer Townsville City Church and then served as youth pastor here for 12 years. Moving on from there, Maryanne and her husband Kendon then helped pioneer another church in the Southside of Townsville and then headed up that ministry for 15 years before returning to TCC in 2012. Maryanne has worked in secular employment throughout much of her ministry life and was a public servant for 23 years. She has also been a company director and currently serves as president of the P&F (parents and friends) team at Annandale Christian College. Maryanne and Kendon have one daughter, Amelia.

Each individual member of Townsville City Church is actively pursuing relationship in a VERTICAL sense with our God and Creator through Jesus Christ!

Loving God means we also love PEOPLE!
Therefore, the HORIZONTAL relationship we ENJOY by loving and pursuing GOD filters out HORIZONTALLY as we SHARE God's love and message with other people!
